Here’s a great site for studying the world's biomes from desert to tundra to taiga and rainforest. This site is a virtual tour containing student quizzes, plant and leaf information and sketches, and maps to locations around the world.

When you utilize this useful site, you get interactive flash cards, games, a homework helper and help on advanced math problems.
Calculus
Calculus many not seem as daunting after a trip through this resource. This site includes detailed graphics and explanations, as well as formal breakdowns of terms and applications.

Internet Mathmatics Workbook
This is a handy-dandy workbook that you can use every day–either in your classroom, or to create homework assignments for students to work on at home. It's available in either hardcopy (printable) or interactive format. Graded from grades K through 6, it provides a math database of drills by grade and level and 5-10 minute exercises, with several exercises available for each topic.
Elementary Problem of the Week

This is a site containing over 4000 math story problems. Students can practice story problems listed by both grade and subject. You might even find some Harry Potter math problems and seasonal problems as well.

This is an "every day" site you students can check out to find odd and interesting facts about the numerals making up today's date, from the book "Numbers: Facts, Figures, and Fiction." Activities and challenges related to the featured numbers are also included. Enjoy!!
